Training Objectives
After the end of the training seminar, the participants will be able to:
- make goal setting, tracking of expenses and budgeting
- compute savings and investment goals and getting out debt
- identify strategies in addressing family concomitant issues that drain OFW resources
- define their roles as leaders and reintegration counselors to OFWs and families;
- characterize reintegration and its challenges for the OFWs and families;
- identify different government, civil society organizations, and private sector partners who could provide psychosocial services, investment opportunities, technical vocational and entrepreneurship training and other services for OFWs and families; and
- implement a monitoring and mentoring scheme for OFWs and families involved in reintegration planning and counseling
Target Participants
The target participants of the training are the following:
- role model in nurturing the family and managing the finances;
- with counseling, training or organizing experience;
- with Facebook account and knowledgeable in basic FB messenger operations;
- willing to volunteer to reach and serve OFW families for psychosocial services and/or economic intervention and
- ready to be part of the pool of reintegration counselors
